How to Perform Assembly Simulation in VR

Launch “HyperSkillVR.exe”
Select a Simulation from the list.
Click on the Start button. For a large model, the VO may take a while to load.
Once the VO has loaded, navigate through the steps with the instruction panel.

Launch “HyperSkillVR.exe”
Click on the plus button to create a new simulation.
Select a space from the list and click the Create button
Name your new simulation and then click the Create button
Once you’re loaded into the space, you are now able to click on Virtual Objects from the panel to add them to your simulation.
Go to the manipulation tool tab to move, resize, copy, rotate, or delete the VO.
Once you’re done adding your VO’s, click on the save tab and then save button to save your changes.
Click on “Exit to Main Menu” to leave your simulation.
How to Author Step-by-Step Instructions in a Simulation
Launch “HyperSkillDesktop.exe”
Select Simulations from the home screen
Select a simulation from the list and click on the pencil icon to open it in edit mode.
See Assembly Builder User Interface to learn the camera controls.
Click on the dropdown to select what task you want.
Click on the plus button to add the first step of your instructions.
Fill out the provided fields of the task.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 to add all of your steps.
Click on the floppy disk icon to save your changes.
Click on the x icon to close the simulation when you’re done.
How to View Your Simulation in VR

Launch “HyperSkillVR.exe”
Select a Simulation from the list.
Click on the Start button .
Once the simulation has loaded, you can navigate through the steps with the instruction panel.
How to View Your Simulation in Desktop
A detailed explanation of controls and interface functions are described in the section Desktop Experience User Interface.
Launch “HyperSkill-Desktop.exe”
Log in to your account and select “Simulations” from the home screen
Click on the simulation you want to experience and then click the eyeball icon
Once the simulation has loaded, you will be able complete the instruction tasks or, in the case of a scenario simulation, participate in a scenario simulation.
